Heroes

An 11-week support group for victims of child sexual abuse, ages 5-11. Heros focuses on self-esteem building, creating appropriate boundaries, and offering a safe space for children to share and be supported in a positive way.

Teen Group

An 8-week support group for teens 13-17 who are survivors of child sexual abuse. Teen group focuses on self-esteem building; healthy relationships, gaining a sense of community and skills for growth, and helping teens access their own strength and courage to claim a healthy and positive future.

Caregiver support group

An 8-week support group offered to all parents and caregivers of children and teens who have experienced sexual abuse. This group educates, supports, and empowers the non-offending caregiver in order for them to have the skills and knowledge to help their children heal from their abusive experiences.

Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse

An 8-week support group for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This group is a processing group, which means it is a place for survivors to have an opportunity to share their stories, shares their challenges, process how their abuse has affected them, relate and connect, and offer insight and support to others.

Adult survivors of sexual assault

An 8-week support group for survivors of sexual assault. It is a place for survivors to have an opportunity to share their stories, share their challenges, process how their abuse has affected them, relate and connect, and offer insight and support to others.

Groups based on survivor identities

LGBTQ Adults, People of Color, Women of Color, Female-Identified Survivors Group, Male-Identified Survivors Group and Secondary Survivor Group.

 

All LGBTQ groups are open to all genders and sexual orientation identities.

       These groups and more are offered at times when The Cottage has the client base to support these groups.
